     Charles Gordon Darroch Farquhar was born on 12 February 1867 at Aboyne, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.² He was the son of Admiral Sir Arthur Farquhar of Drumnagesk and Ellen Rickman.^3,2 He married Leila Dorothy Stanier, daughter of Francis Stanier and Caroline Judith Justice, on 16 April 1903.¹ He died on 3 July 1946 at age 79 at Maryculter, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.²

     Sarah Constance Gibbons was the daughter of Reverend Benjamin Gibbons.² She married Sir Beville Stanier, 1st Bt., son of Francis Stanier and Caroline Judith Justice, on 12 December 1894.¹ She died on 13 June 1948.¹
     From 12 December 1894, her married name became Stanier.

     Brigadier Sir Alexander Beville Gibbons Stanier, 2nd Bt. was born on 31 January 1899.¹ He was the son of Sir Beville Stanier, 1st Bt. and Sarah Constance Gibbons.² He married Dorothy Gladys Miller, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Alfred Douglas Miller and Ella Geraldine Fletcher, on 21 July 1927.¹ He died in 1995.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of officer in 1917 in the Welsh Guards.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He was awarded the Commander, Order of Leopold II.¹ He was awarded the Croix de Guerre Belgium with palms.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Stanier, of Peplow Hall, Market Drayton, Shropshire [U.K., 1917] on 15 December 1921.¹ He was Military Secretary, Gibraltar between 1927 and 1930.¹ He was appointed Commander, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (C.St.J.)¹ He was awarded the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1940 and bar (1945.)¹ He fought in the Second World War between 1940 and 1945.¹ He was awarded the U.S. Silver Star.¹ He retired from the military in 1948, with the rank of Brigadier.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) in 1949.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) in 1951.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Shropshire in 1951.¹

     Brig.-Gen. Alfred Douglas Miller was born on 1 March 1864.² He married Ella Geraldine Fletcher, daughter of John Fletcher.² He died on 5 December 1933 at age 69.²
     He lived at Shotover Park, Wheatley, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1902.² He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.²

     Dorothy Gladys Miller was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Alfred Douglas Miller and Ella Geraldine Fletcher.^2,3 She married Brigadier Sir Alexander Beville Gibbons Stanier, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Beville Stanier, 1st Bt. and Sarah Constance Gibbons, on 21 July 1927.¹ She died in 1973.¹
     From 21 July 1927, her married name became Stanier.

     Sylvia Mary Finola Stanier was born on 9 May 1928.¹ She was the daughter of Brigadier Sir Alexander Beville Gibbons Stanier, 2nd Bt. and Dorothy Gladys Miller.² She died on 12 October 2019 at age 91.³
     She was appointed Lieutenant, Royal Victorian Order (L.V.O.)³

     Philip Francis Stanier was born on 6 September 1901.¹ He was the son of Sir Beville Stanier, 1st Bt. and Sarah Constance Gibbons.² He married Kathleen Mary Turrall, daughter of Edgar Turrall, on 6 April 1929.¹ He died on 28 January 1977 at age 75.¹
     He was educated at Shrewsbury School, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England.¹ He was educated at Wye Agricultural College, Wye, Kent, England^G.¹
