     Rt. Hon. Robert Cutlar-Fergusson, 17th of Craigdarroch was born on 21 February 1772 at Glencairn, Dumfries-shire, Scotland.1,2 He was the son of Alexander Fergusson, 16th of Craigdarroch and Deborah Cutlar.1 He was baptised on 7 March 1772 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.2 He married Marie Joséphine Auger, daughter of General unknown Auger, on 17 May 1832.1 He died on 16 November 1838 at age 66 at Paris, France.3,2
     He was admitted to barrister in 1797.1 He was barrister between 1800 and 1820 at Calcutta, India.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Kirkcudbrightshire between 1826 and 1838.1 He was appointed Privy Councillor (P.C.) in 1834.1 He held the office of Judge-Advocate General in 1834.1

     Robert Cutlar Fergusson, 18th of Craigdarroch was born on 3 December 1836.1 He was the son of Rt. Hon. Robert Cutlar-Fergusson, 17th of Craigdarroch and Marie Joséphine Auger.1 He married Ella Frances Catherine Alison, daughter of Sir Archibald Alison, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Glencairn Tytler, on 26 September 1854.2,1 He died on 6 October 1859 at age 22.3
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1

     Thomas Fergusson, 6th of Craigdarroch was the son of John Fergusson, 5th of Craigdarroch and Elizabeth Douglas.1 He married unknown daughter Crichton, daughter of Robert Crichton, 2nd Lord Crichton of Sanquhar and Marion Maxwell.1 He died circa 1563.1
     On 3 November 1514 he was infeft as heir to his father.1
