     Thomas Dick Smith Cuninghame was born on 5 December 1858.¹ He was the son of William Cathcart Smith Cuninghame, 14th of Caprington and Maria Anstruther.¹ He married Eleanora Wauchope, daughter of Andrew Wauchope, on 8 August 1883.¹ He died on 6 February 1936 at age 77.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.¹

     Eleanora Wauchope was the daughter of Andrew Wauchope.¹ She married Thomas Dick Smith Cuninghame, son of William Cathcart Smith Cuninghame, 14th of Caprington and Maria Anstruther, on 8 August 1883.¹ She died on 13 September 1943.¹
     From 8 August 1883, her married name became Smith Cuninghame.¹

     Robert Dick Smith Cuninghame was born on 20 June 1886.¹ He was the son of Thomas Dick Smith Cuninghame and Eleanora Wauchope.¹ He married Doris Melles, daughter of Joseph William Melles, on 18 February 1918.¹ He died on 5 May 1957 at age 70.¹ He was buried at Kaimshill Cemetery, Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, Scotland.²
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Scots Guards.¹ He fought in the First World War between 1915 and 1918, where he was wounded three times and was mentioned in despatches.¹

     Doris Melles was born on 15 August 1888.² She was the daughter of Joseph William Melles.¹ She married Robert Dick Smith Cuninghame, son of Thomas Dick Smith Cuninghame and Eleanora Wauchope, on 18 February 1918.¹ She died on 13 June 1975 at age 86.² She was buried at Kaimshill Cemetery, Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, Scotland.²
     From 18 February 1918, her married name became Smith Cuninghame.¹

     Joseph William Melles lived at Gruline, Isle of Mull, Scotland.¹

     Major Robert Gordon Smith Cuninghame was born on 7 January 1919.¹ He was the son of Robert Dick Smith Cuninghame and Doris Melles.¹ He married, firstly, Mary Virginia Mirrielees, daughter of J. Mirrielees, on 23 June 1945.¹ He and Mary Virginia Mirrielees were divorced in 1950.¹ He married, secondly, Joan Johnston on 27 September 1961.¹ He died on 2 January 1985 at age 65 at Ayrshire, Scotland.²
     He gained the rank of Major in the Blatch Watch.¹ He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1945.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1944.¹

     Mary Virginia Mirrielees is the daughter of J. Mirrielees.¹ She married Major Robert Gordon Smith Cuninghame, son of Robert Dick Smith Cuninghame and Doris Melles, on 23 June 1945.¹ She and Major Robert Gordon Smith Cuninghame were divorced in 1950.¹
     From 23 June 1945, her married name became Smith Cuninghame.¹

     J. Mirrielees lived at Garth, Aberfeldy, Perthshire, Scotland.¹
