     He held the office of Governor of the Bank of England.¹

     Lucy Elizabeth Pryor was born on 3 March 1845.² She was the daughter of Arthur D. Pryor and Elizabeth Sophia Dew.¹ She married David Powell, son of David Powell and Caroline Pryor, in July 1867.¹ She died in November 1902 at age 57.¹
     From July 1867, her married name became Powell.¹

     Rt. Hon. Robert David Perceval-Maxwell was born on 29 March 1870 at Moore Hill, Lismore, County Waterford, Ireland.^1,2 He was the son of John William Perceval-Maxwell and Selina Imogene Frances Ker.² He married Edith Grace Head in 1895.¹ He died on 24 May 1932 at age 62.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was seriously wounded.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He held the office of Senator [Northern Ireland] between 1921 and 1925.¹ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland] in July 1921.¹

     Henry Pryor Powell was born on 14 February 1847.¹ He was the son of David Powell and Caroline Pryor.¹ He married Helena Eddis, daughter of E. U. Eddis, in July 1875.¹ He died on 12 December 1905 at age 58.¹

     Helena Eddis is the daughter of E. U. Eddis.¹ She married Henry Pryor Powell, son of David Powell and Caroline Pryor, in July 1875.¹
     From July 1875, her married name became Powell.¹

     Grizell Hoare was born in 1781.² She was the daughter of Samuel Hoare and Sarah Gurney.^1,3 She married David Powell, son of David Powell and Laetitia Clark, on 9 August 1810.¹ She died on 21 February 1852.¹
     From 9 August 1810, her married name became Powell.¹

     Samuel Hoare was born on 29 May 1751.² He was the son of Samuel Hoare and Grizell Gurnell.³ He married, firstly, Sarah Gurney, daughter of Samuel Gurney and Sarah Lawrence, on 15 May 1776.³ He married, secondly, Hannah Sterry, daughter of Henry Sterry, on 17 June 1788.³ He died on 13 July 1825 at age 74.²
     He was a partner of Barnett, Hill, Baernett and Hoare, bankers at London, England^G.³ He lived at Hampstead, London, England^G.¹
