     From 29 July 1927, her married name became Powell.¹

     Lt.-Col. John Augustus Lawrence Powell was born on 24 January 1898 at Secunderabad, India.² He was the son of Lt.-Col. Albert Laurence Powell and Ella Eugenie Elizabeth Breul.^1,2 He married Alfreda Constance Margaret Bibby, daughter of Alfred Bibby and Hylda Frances Maryon Battye, on 29 July 1927.¹ He died in 1987.²
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 4th Hussars.¹

     Lt.-Col. Albert Laurence Powell was born on 29 November 1869.² He was the son of David Powell and Lucy Elizabeth Pryor.³ He married Ella Eugenie Elizabeth Breul, daughter of Charles Augustus T. Breul, on 10 March 1897 at Girgaum Church, Bombay, India.³

     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Coldstream Guards.¹ He lived in 2003 at The Red Cottage, Finchampstead, Berkshire, England^G.¹

     Susanna Mary Stewart Prescot was born in 1935.² She was the daughter of Brigadier Cynric Puleston Prescot.¹ She married Major David Powell, son of Lt.-Col. John Augustus Lawrence Powell and Alfreda Constance Margaret Bibby, on 29 June 1957.¹ She died on 6 October 2020.²
     From 29 June 1957, her married name became Powell.¹
