     John Nathaniel Rachkind was born in 1952.¹ He was the son of Harold Rachkind. He married Susan Anne Clare de Halpert, daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Michael Francis de Halpert and Eleanor Anne Love White, on 8 July 1988.² He died on 24 June 2019.¹

     Nigel Ashfield married Anna Mary de Halpert, daughter of Rear-Admiral Sir Jeremy Michael de Halpert and Jane Fattorini.¹
