Maj.-Gen. Sir James Kyrle Money, 1st and last Bt.1 
He was given the name of James Money at birth.2 He gained the rank of Ensign in 1793.2 He gained the rank of Major in 1804.2 In 1808 he suceeded to his father’s estates.2 On 26 April 1809 his name was legally changed to James Kyrle Money by Royal Licence.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1811.2 He gained the rank of Colonel in 1825.2 He was created 1st Baronet Kyrle Money, of Much Marcle [U.K.] in 1838.1 He gained the rank of Major-General in 1838.2

He was given the name of William Money at birth.1 He was admitted to Inner Temple entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He suffered from ill-health and possibly hypochondria.1 In 1843 his name was legally changed to William Money-Kyrle by Royal Licence.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Herefordshire in 1853.1

He was given the name of John Ernle Money at birth.2 He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Ensign in 1833 in the 32nd Regiment of Foot.2 He gained the rank of Captain in 1843.2 In 1843 his name was legally changed to John Ernle Money-Kyrle by Royal Licence.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 32nd Regiment.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Herefordshire.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Herefordshire.2 His last will was dated 21 December 1889.2
