Sir James Sharp, 2nd Bt.1 
He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Sharp, of Scotscraig, co. Fife [N.S., 1683] on 27 January 1711/12.2 On 22 October 1712 he was served heir to his father.2 He gained the rank of officer in 1715 in the Master of Sinclair’s Fife Suqadron.2 He was tried at Cupar for his part in the 1715 Uprising.2 He sold Stoniehill in 1728.2 He sold Scotscraig in 1735.2
