     Peter Anthony Johnstone was born in 1916 at Stratford, Warwickshire, England.² He was the son of Douglas Johnstone.¹ He married Ursula Agnes Lampson, daughter of Adam Cathcart Lampson and Margueretta Aggie Eileen Hutchinson, on 29 September 1939.¹ He died on 17 September 1944 at Italy, killed in action.^1,3
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the The Buffs.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹
