     Richard Thomas Burney was born on 20 November 1768 at King’s Lynn, Norfolk, England.^1,2 He was the son of Charles Burney and Elizabeth (?)¹ He married Jane Ross on 9 November 1787 at Calcutta, India.¹ He died on 8 March 1808 at age 39 at The Baptist Mission House, Rangoon, Burma.²
     He was the headmaster between 1795 and 1808 at Orphan School, Kidderpore, India.¹

     Jane Ross was born on 9 November 1772.² She married Richard Thomas Burney, son of Charles Burney and Elizabeth (?), on 9 November 1787 at Calcutta, India.¹ She died on 28 May 1842 at age 69 at Calcutta, India.²
     From 9 November 1787, her married name became Burney.¹

     Jane Caroline Burney was born on 18 January 1802.¹ She was the daughter of Richard Thomas Burney and Jane Ross.¹ She was baptised on 20 June 1802 at Calcutta, India.¹ She died on 17 February 1871 at age 69 at London, England.²

     Sir John Stanley Vyvyan, 12th Bt. was born on 20 January 1916.¹ He was the son of Major-Gen. Ralph Ernest Vyvyan and Vera Grace Alexander.² He married, firstly, Joyce Lilia Marsh, daughter of Frederick Marsh, in 1940.¹ He and Joyce Lilia Marsh were divorced in 1946.¹ He married, secondly, Marie O’Shea, daughter of Dr. unknown O’Shea, in 1948.¹ He and Marie O’Shea were divorced in 1958.¹ He married, thirdly, Jonet Noel Barclay, daughter of Lt.-Col. Alexander Hubert Barclay, in 1958.¹ He died on 6 October 1995 at age 79.¹
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.¹ He was educated at School of Oriental and African Studies, London University, London, England.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Signals, in India and Arakan.¹ He was with BAT.¹ He succeeded as the 12th Baronet Vyvyan, of Trelowarren, Cornwall [E., 1645] on 15 May 1978.¹

     Frederick Marsh lived at Kailan Mining Admin, Peking, China.¹

     Joyce Lilia Marsh is the daughter of Frederick Marsh.² She married Sir John Stanley Vyvyan, 12th Bt., son of Major-Gen. Ralph Ernest Vyvyan and Vera Grace Alexander, in 1940.¹ She and Sir John Stanley Vyvyan, 12th Bt. were divorced in 1946.¹
     From 1940, her married name became Vyvyan.

     Lorraine Vyvyan was born in 1942.¹ She was the daughter of Sir John Stanley Vyvyan, 12th Bt. and Joyce Lilia Marsh.² She died in 1983.¹

     Maj.-Gen. George Burney was born on 23 February 1803.¹ He was the son of Richard Thomas Burney and Jane Ross.¹ He was baptised on 12 June 1803 at Calcutta, India.¹ He married, firstly, Frances Doveton on 25 October 1831 at Barrackpore, Bengal, India.² He married, secondly, Amelia Maria Nash after 1849.² He died on 25 March 1870 at age 67 at Dehra Dun, India.²

     Dr. unknown O’Shea lived at Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.¹

     Marie O’Shea is the daughter of Dr. unknown O’Shea.² She married Sir John Stanley Vyvyan, 12th Bt., son of Major-Gen. Ralph Ernest Vyvyan and Vera Grace Alexander, in 1948.¹ She and Sir John Stanley Vyvyan, 12th Bt. were divorced in 1958.¹
     From 1948, her married name became Vyvyan.
