     Samuel George Armstrong Vestey, 3rd Baron Vestey was born on 19 March 1941.1 He was the son of Captain Hon. William Howarth Vestey and Helen Pamela Fullerton Melba Armstrong.2 He married, firstly, Kathryn Mary Eccles, daughter of John Eccles, on 11 September 1970.1 He and Kathryn Mary Eccles were divorced in 1981.1 He married, secondly, Celia Elizabeth Knight, daughter of Major Hubert Guy Broughton Knight, in 1981.1 He died on 4 February 2021 at age 79.3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Vestey, of Kingswood, co. Surrey [U.K., 1922] on 4 May 1954.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Vestey, of Kingswood, co. Surrey [U.K., 1913] on 4 May 1954.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant between 1960 and 1963 in the Scots Guards.1 He was director of Union International Company.1 He was President of London Meat Trade and Drovers Benevolent Association in 1973.2 He was prsident of the British Institute of Meat between 1978 and 1983.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Gloucestershire in 1982.1 He was appointed Officer, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (O.St.J.)1 He lived in 2003 at Stowell Park, Northleach, Gloucestershire, England.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 2009.4 He was appointed Grand Cross, Royal Victorian Order (G.C.V.O.) in 2018.5

William Howarth Vestey and Helen Pamela Fullerton Melba Armstrong, on 11 September 1970.1 She and Samuel George Armstrong Vestey, 3rd Baron Vestey were divorced in 1981.1 She died on 13 December 2017.3
     After her marriage, Kathryn Mary Eccles was styled as Baroness Vestey on 11 September 1970. From 11 September 1970, her married name became Vestey.
