     From 1893, her married name became Gould.¹

     Lt.-Gen. Charles Edward Parke Gordon was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹

     Ellen Frances Gordon was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Charles Edward Parke Gordon.² She married James Walter Sandilands, 12th Lord Torphichen, son of Rev. Hon. John Sandilands and Helen Hope, on 25 May 1881.¹ She and James Walter Sandilands, 12th Lord Torphichen were divorced in 1890.¹ She died in 1943.¹
     From 25 May 1881, her married name became Sandilands.

     James Archibald Douglas Sandilands, Master of Torphichen was born on 6 October 1884.¹ He was the son of James Walter Sandilands, 12th Lord Torphichen and Ellen Frances Gordon.² He died on 29 September 1909 at age 24, unmarried.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was educated at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He was Assistant Resident of Nyasaland Protectorate in 1909.¹

     Henry Baldwin married Sarah Ellicot, daughter of Andrew Ellicot and Sarah Browne.¹

     Stephen Francis Fox was born in 1742.¹ He was the son of Francis Fox and Hannah Scatlebury.¹ He died in 1816.¹

     James Bruce Sandilands, 14th Lord Torphichen was born on 26 October 1917.¹ He was the son of John Gordon Sandilands, 13th Lord Torphichen and Grace Douglass Pierce.² He married, firstly, Mary Thurstan Vaudrey, daughter of Randle Henry Neville Vaudrey, on 15 October 1943.¹ He and Mary Thurstan Vaudrey were divorced in 1952.¹ He married, secondly, Margaret Jane Dawson, daughter of George Dawson, in August 1955.¹ He and Margaret Jane Dawson were divorced in 1967.¹ He married, thirdly, Pamela Mary Howard-Snow, daughter of John Howard-Snow, on 23 April 1973.³ He died on 12 July 1975 at age 57.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was educated at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He succeeded as the 14th Lord Torphichen, of Saint John of Torphichen, West Lothian [S., 1564] on 1 July 1973.¹
