     He gained the rank of Lieutenant between 1957 and 1965 in the Fleet Air Arm, Royal Navy.¹ He was chairman of Moorgate Investment Management.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Thomson, of Old Nunthorpe, co. York [U.K., 1925] in 1991.² He lived in 2003 at 148 Oakwood Court, Abbotsbury Road, London, England.¹

     Michael Alfred Rufus Isaacs, 3rd Marquess of Reading was born on 8 March 1916.³ He was the son of Gerald Rufus Isaacs, 2nd Marquess of Reading and Hon.      Lady Jacqueline Rosemary Margaret Rufus Isaacs was born on 10 November 1946.² She is the daughter of Michael Alfred Rufus Isaacs, 3rd Marquess of Reading and Margot Irene Duke.^2,3 She married Sir Mark Wilfred Home Thomson, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Ivo Wilfrid Home Thomson, 2nd Bt. and Sybil Marguerite Thompson, on 26 June 1976.¹ She and Sir Mark Wilfred Home Thomson, 3rd Bt. were divorced in 1997.¹
     From 26 June 1976, her married name became Thomson.
