     Sir Matthew William Thompson, 3rd Bt. was born on 28 June 1872.¹ He was the son of Rev. Sir Peile Thompson, 2nd Bt. and Jessie Clare Beaumont.² He married Harriet Kathleen Hamilton-Grace, daughter of Colonel Sheffield Hamilton-Grace and Anne Smijth-Windham, on 3 November 1909.¹ He died on 25 November 1956 at age 84, without issue.¹
     He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.¹ He was an artist.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Thompson, of Park Gate, Guiseley, co. York [U.K., 1890] on 8 April 1918.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society of Arts (F.R.S.A.)¹

     Bruce Campbell-Johnston was born in 1864 at Kent, England.¹ He was the son of Captain Frederick Erskine Campbell-Johnston and Clementina Frances Collier.¹

     Harriet Kathleen Hamilton-Grace was the daughter of Colonel Sheffield Hamilton-Grace and Anne Smijth-Windham.^2,3 She married Sir Matthew William Thompson, 3rd Bt., son of Rev. Sir Peile Thompson, 2nd Bt. and Jessie Clare Beaumont, on 3 November 1909.¹ She died on 9 January 1969.¹
     From 3 November 1909, her married name became Thompson.

     Sir Peile Beaumont Thompson, 4th Bt. was born on 4 February 1874.¹ He is the son of Rev. Sir Peile Thompson, 2nd Bt. and Jessie Clare Beaumont.² He married Stella Harris, daughter of Arthur Harris, on 8 October 1908.¹ He died on 8 August 1972 at age 98.¹
     He was educated at Sedbergh School, Sedbergh, Cumbria, England.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was a market gardner at Guernsey, Chanel Islands.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Thompson, of Park Gate, Guiseley, co. York [U.K., 1890] on 25 November 1956.¹

     Miles Atkinson Thompson was born on 7 July 1888.¹ He was the son of Rev. Sir Peile Thompson, 2nd Bt. and Jessie Clare Beaumont.²
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Lincolnshire Yeomanry.¹

     Dorothy Noble Thompson was born on 1 July 1884.¹ She was the daughter of Rev. Sir Peile Thompson, 2nd Bt. and Jessie Clare Beaumont.² She died on 5 November 1935 at age 51.¹

     Samuel Hepburn was baptised on 17 May 1767 at Temple, Midlothian, Scotland.¹ He was the son of Robert Hepburn of Clerkington and Isabella Mitchelson.¹

     Arthur Harris lived at Heaton Grove, Bradford, Yorkshire, England.¹

     Stella Harris was born circa 1879.¹ She was the daughter of Arthur Harris.² She married Sir Peile Beaumont Thompson, 4th Bt., son of Rev. Sir Peile Thompson, 2nd Bt. and Jessie Clare Beaumont, on 8 October 1908.¹ She died on 26 December 1972.¹
     From 8 October 1908, her married name became Thompson.

     Sir Peile Thompson, 5th Bt. was born on 28 February 1911.¹ He was the son of Sir Peile Beaumont Thompson, 4th Bt. and Stella Harris.² He married Barbara Johnson Rampling, daughter of Horace Johnson Rampling, on 28 July 1937.¹ He died in 1985.¹
     He was educated at Canford School, Wimborne, Dorset, England.¹ He graduated from St. Catharine’s College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1933 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Manchester Regiment.¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1950.¹ He gained the rank of commander in the 26th Battalion, King’s African Rifles.¹ He fought in the Kenyan Emergency in 1955, where he was mentioned in dispatches.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1959.¹ He graduated from St. Catharine’s College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1959 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Thompson, of Park Gate, Guiseley, co. York [U.K., 1890] on 8 August 1972.¹
