     Agnes Swinton was the daughter of John Campbell Swinton, 2nd of Kimmerghame and Catherine Rannie.² She married Reverend George Murray.¹ She died in 1893.¹
     Her married name became Murray. She had two sons and two daughters.¹

     Reverend George Murray married Agnes Swinton, daughter of John Campbell Swinton, 2nd of Kimmerghame and Catherine Rannie.¹ He died on 28 December 1877.¹
     He was Vicar at Dedham, Essex, England.¹ He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹

     James Swinton was the son of Archibald Swinton, 1st of Kimmerghame and Henrietta Campbell.² He died in 1813 at India.¹
     He was Lieutenant in the Honourable East India Company Service.¹

     Archibald Swinton was the son of Archibald Swinton, 1st of Kimmerghame and Henrietta Campbell.² He died in 1806, drowned.¹
     He gained the rank of Midshipman in the Royal Navy.¹

     Francis Swinton was the son of John Swinton, 26th of that Ilk and Mary Semple.² He died at India.¹
     He was in the Honourable East India Company Service.¹

     Pringle Swinton was the son of John Swinton, 26th of that Ilk and Mary Semple.² He died, young.¹

     Elizabeth Swinton was the daughter of John Swinton, 26th of that Ilk and Mary Semple.² She died, unmarried.¹

     Ann Margaret Swinton was born in 1725.¹ She was the daughter of John Swinton, 26th of that Ilk and Mary Semple.³ She married Robert Hepburn of Baads, son of William Hepburn and Anna Ainslie, on 25 October 1741.¹ She died in 1742.⁴
     From 25 October 1741, her married name became Hepburn.

     Robert Hepburn of Baads was born on 4 December 1698 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.² He was the son of William Hepburn and Anna Ainslie.² He married Ann Margaret Swinton, daughter of John Swinton, 26th of that Ilk and Mary Semple, on 25 October 1741.¹ He died in 1756.²

     Jean Swinton was the daughter of John Swinton, 26th of that Ilk and Mary Semple.² She died, unmarried.¹
