     Christian Stirling was born on 4 January 1910.¹ He was the son of Major Charles Stirling and Hon. Amy Harriott Gurdon.² He died on 16 December 1990 at age 80.¹

     Brig.-Gen. William Stirling was born on 15 March 1876 at Christchurch, Hampshire, England.^1,2 He was the son of General Sir William Stirling and Anna Christian Stirling.³ He married Kathleen Henrietta Garratt, daughter of Lt.-Col. John Arthur Thomas Garratt, in 1915.¹ He died on 31 October 1949 at age 73.¹
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.¹ He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, London, England.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1919.¹ He gained the rank of Commander between 1928 and 1932 in the 2nd Division, Aldershot.¹ He retired from the military in 1932, with the rank of Brigadier-General, late of the Royal Artillery.¹

     William George Hatherell married Fiona Margaret Fleming, daughter of Alexander Fleming and Hannah Eliza Cooper, on 14 November 1917 at Gisborne, New Zealand.¹

     Kathleen Henrietta Garratt was the daughter of Lt.-Col. John Arthur Thomas Garratt.² She married Brig.-Gen. William Stirling, son of General Sir William Stirling and Anna Christian Stirling, in 1915.¹ She died on 7 March 1954.¹
     From 1915, her married name became Stirling.

     Brigadier Walter Andrew Stirling was born on 5 August 1883 at Nussteads, Polstead, Suffolk, England.^1,2 He was the son of General Sir William Stirling and Anna Christian Stirling.³ He married Louie Rosa Margueritha Faber, daughter of Johan Valdemar Faber, on 3 June 1914.¹ He died in 1972.¹
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.¹ He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, England.¹ He gained the rank of officer between 1907 and 1909 in the South Nigerian Regiment.¹ He fought in the Niger Cross River Expedition.¹ He fought in the First World War, in France.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He retired from the military in 1944, with the rank of Brigadier, late of the Royal Field Artillery.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Suffolk in 1958.¹ He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court on 1 September 1970.¹

     Johan Valdemar Faber was born on 8 September 1849 at Odense, Denmark. He died on 18 December 1917 at age 68 at London, England.
     He was appointed KCD.¹ He was Consul General for Denmark.¹

     Louie Rosa Margueritha Faber was the daughter of Johan Valdemar Faber.² She married Brigadier Walter Andrew Stirling, son of General Sir William Stirling and Anna Christian Stirling, on 3 June 1914.¹ She died in 1975.¹
     From 3 June 1914, her married name became Stirling.

     Major Charles Robert Stirling was born on 26 March 1919.¹ He was the son of Brigadier Walter Andrew Stirling and Louie Rosa Margueritha Faber.² He married Gale Stedman, daughter of W/Cdr. J. A. Stedman, on 30 July 1969.¹ He died in 1997.¹
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, England.¹ He retired from the military in 1959, with the rank of Major, late of the Royal Artillery.¹

     W/Cdr. J. A. Stedman gained the rank of Wing Commander in the Royal Air Force.¹ He lived at Kersey, Surrey, England.¹

     Gale Stedman is the daughter of W/Cdr. J. A. Stedman.² She married Major Charles Robert Stirling, son of Brigadier Walter Andrew Stirling and Louie Rosa Margueritha Faber, on 30 July 1969.¹
     From 30 July 1969, her married name became Stirling.
