     Lt.-Col. Francis Marwood Hext was baptised on 20 June 1860 at St. Austell, Cornwall, England.² He was the son of Thomas Hext and Rhoda Charlton Yeatman.²
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.¹ He lived at Redhayes, Devon, England.¹

     Dorothy Hext was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Francis Marwood Hext.² She married Gerard Parker, son of Mackworth Praed Parker and Sybil Edith Garratt, on 9 June 1921.¹ She died on 17 March 1954.¹
