     Andrew Grote was born on 15 April 1710 at Bremen, Germany.² He married, firstly, Ann Adams in 1745.² He married, secondly, Mary Anne Culverden on 7 February 1760 at St. George the Martyr, Queen Square, Holborn, London, England.²
     He was a merchant in 1731 at London, England.² He was founder of Prescotts Bank, Threadneedle Street (now NatWest Bank) on 1 January 1766.²

     Charlotte Grote was born on 28 October 1763 at Woburn Farm, Chertsey, Surrey, England.² She was the daughter of Andrew Grote and Mary Anne Culverden.^3,2 She married Vice-Admiral Charles Stirling, son of Captain Sir Walter Stirling of Faskine and Dorothy Willing, in August 1789.¹ She died on 25 March 1825 at age 61.¹
     From August 1789, her married name became Stirling.

     Charlotte Dorothea Stirling was the daughter of Vice-Admiral Charles Stirling and Charlotte Grote.² She married Charles Stirling, 1st of Muiravonside, son of Andrew Stirling of Drumpellier and Anne Dorothea Stirling, on 1 May 1827.¹ She died on 25 June 1862.¹

     Anne Dorothea Stirling was born circa 1762.² She was the daughter of Captain Sir Walter Stirling of Faskine and Dorothy Willing.³ She married Andrew Stirling of Drumpellier, son of William Stirling of Drumpelier and Mary Buchanan, on 26 May 1778.¹ She died on 1 June 1830.¹

     Maj.-Gen. William Farquhar was born on 26 February 1770 at Newhall, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.¹ He was the son of Robert Farquhar and Agnes Morison.¹ He was also reported to have been born on 26 February 1774.¹ He married, firstly, Antoinette Clement in 1795.¹ He married, secondly, Margaret Loban in 1828 at London, England.¹ He died on 13 May 1839 at age 69 at Early Bank, Perthshire, Scotland.¹ He was also reported to have died on 11 May 1839.¹

     Marjorie Evelina Denning was born in 1891 at Whitchurch, Hampshire, England.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Denning and Clara Thompson.¹ She married Edward John G. Haynes in September 1916 at Whitchurch, Hampshire, England.¹ She died in 1982.¹
     From September 1916, her married name became Haynes.¹

     Isabella Hunter is the daughter of John Hunter.¹ She married John Stirling, son of John Stirling and Janet Campbell, on 20 August 1702.¹
     From 20 August 1702, her married name became Stirling.

     Thomas Stanley was the son of Sir John Stanley and Elizabeth Weever.¹ He married Douce Liversage, daughter of Thomas Liversage, in 1505.¹ He died on 10 April 1526.¹

     Mary Buchanan is the daughter of Andrew Buchanan of Drumpellier and Marion Montgomery.² She married William Stirling of Drumpelier, son of John Stirling and Isabella Hunter, in 1747.¹
     From 1747, her married name became Stirling.
