     Francis Stanier was born on 11 July 1808.¹ He was the son of Thomas Stanier and Ann Halmarack.² He married Mary Wilkinson, daughter of Frederick Wilkinson and Susannah Sparrow, on 28 July 1834 at Wolstanton, Staffordshire, England.^1,3 He died on 13 October 1856 at age 48.¹
     He was a practising an attorney.¹ He held the office of Mayor of Newcastle-under-Lyme in 1851.¹ He lived at Madeley Manor, Staffordshire, England.¹ He lived at Moor House, Biddulph, Staffordshire, England.¹ He was , with other issue, including two younger sons (Thomas, of Madeley Manor, Justice of the Peace (J.P.) Staffs, born 1841, 31st Regt, married 1882 Constance (died 3 April 1925), daughter of Forbes Benignus Winslow, MD, on 13 October 1856.¹ On 27 February 1906 Randle Baddeley, married Anne (died ), daughter of R A Dallas) and two daughters (Mary Jane, married 2 Aug 1882 George Henry Gordon (died 21 July 1928), of Wincombe Park, Wilts issue.¹

     Frederick Wilkinson married Susannah Sparrow, daughter of Thomas Sparrow and Mary (?), on 14 October 1811.²
     He lived at Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, England.¹

     Mary Wilkinson was born on 10 April 1815.² She was the daughter of Frederick Wilkinson and Susannah Sparrow.^3,2 She was baptised on 15 June 1815.² She married Francis Stanier, son of Thomas Stanier and Ann Halmarack, on 28 July 1834 at Wolstanton, Staffordshire, England.^1,2 She died on 14 October 1880 at age 65.¹
     From 28 July 1834, her married name became Stanier.

     Francis Stanier was born on 30 January 1838.¹ He was the son of Francis Stanier and Mary Wilkinson.² He married Caroline Judith Justice, daughter of General William Justice, on 6 June 1860.¹ He died on 7 October 1900 at age 62.¹
     He was given the name of Francis Stanier at birth.¹ On 12 August 1856 his name was legally changed to Francis Philip Broade Stanier by Royal Licence, on inheriting the estate of Philip Barnes Broade.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 3rd King’s Own Staffordshire Militia.¹ In 1876 his name was legally changed to Francis Stanier by Royal Licence.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Staffordshire.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Shropshire.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Shropshire.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Shropshire in 1894.¹ He lived at Peplow Hall, Shropshire, England.¹ He lived at The Moor House, Shropshire, England.¹

     General William Justice lived at Green Park, Bath, Somerset, England.¹

     Caroline Judith Justice was the daughter of General William Justice.² She married Francis Stanier, son of Francis Stanier and Mary Wilkinson, on 6 June 1860.¹ She died on 29 January 1905.¹
     From 6 June 1860, her married name became Stanier.

     Frank Justice Stanier was born on 20 October 1862.¹ He was the son of Francis Stanier and Caroline Judith Justice.² He married Beatrice Hood, daughter of Dr. Wharton P. Hood, on 13 June 1894.¹ He died on 2 February 1909 at age 46.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Staffordshire.¹

     Beatrice Hood was the daughter of Dr. Wharton P. Hood.¹ She married, firstly, Frank Justice Stanier, son of Francis Stanier and Caroline Judith Justice, on 13 June 1894.¹ She married, secondly, Arthur Bensley Gardner on 17 June 1911.¹ She died circa 1947.¹
     From 13 June 1894, her married name became Stanier. From 17 June 1911, her married name became Gardner.¹
