     Captain James Herbert Lowry was the son of Lt.-Gen. Robert William Lowry and Emily Rohesia Ward.2 He married Charlotte Louise Ramsbotham, daughter of Philip Bury Ramsbotham and Florence Elizabeth King, on 26 October 1904.1 He died on 24 August 1911, without issue.
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Indian Army.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1

Edward Geoffrey Ramsbotham1

     He was educated at Malvern College, Malvern, Worcestershire, England.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Sussex.1
