     Sir George Herbert Shakerley, 4th Bt. was born on 27 September 1863.¹ He was the son of Sir Charles Watkin Shakerley, 2nd Bt. and Georgiana Harriett Ackers.² He married Evelyn Mary France-Hayhurst, daughter of Colonel Charles Hosken France-Hayhurst, on 22 January 1891.¹ He died on 7 August 1945 at age 81.¹
     He was given the name of George Herbert Shakerley at birth.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Cheshire.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the King’s Royal Rifle Corps.¹ He gained the rank of Captain and Honorary Major in the 5th Volunteer Battalion, Cheshire Regiment.¹ On 8 January 1908 his name was legally changed to George Herbert Shakerley-Ackers by Royal Licence.¹ His name was legally changed to George Herbert Shakerley.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Shakerley, of Somerford Park, co. Chester [U.K., 1838] on 11 January 1943.¹ He lived at Duddleswell Manor, Uckfield, Sussex, England.¹

     Ernest Alfred Shakerley-Howell was born on 20 September 1866.¹ He was the son of Sir Charles Watkin Shakerley, 2nd Bt. and Georgiana Harriett Ackers.² He married Rhoda Mary Louisa Howell, daughter of Francis Buller Howell and Mary Beatrice Heywood, on 7 September 1905.¹ He died on 22 February 1934 at age 67.¹
     He was given the name of Ernest Alfred Shakerley at birth.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry.¹ He gained the rank of Staff-Captain in 1914 in the Railway Transport.¹ On 29 January 1927 his name was legally changed to Ernest Alfred Shakerley-Howell by Royal Licence.¹ He lived at Ethy, Lostwithiel, Cornwall, England.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the West Riding, Yorkshire, and Liberty of Ripon.¹

     Edward Jonathan Measor was baptised on 25 October 1818 at St. Paul, Exeter, Devon, England.¹ He was the son of Paul Measor and Mary Davis Mason.¹ He married Isabella Mary Scott, daughter of Reverend Robert Hilton Scott, on 13 February 1847 at St. Giles, London, England.¹ He died in 1886 at Paddington, London, England.¹

     Rhoda Mary Louisa Howell was born in 1883 at Marylebone, London, England.² She was the daughter of Francis Buller Howell and Mary Beatrice Heywood.^2,3 She married Ernest Alfred Shakerley-Howell, son of Sir Charles Watkin Shakerley, 2nd Bt. and Georgiana Harriett Ackers, on 7 September 1905.¹ She died on 23 March 1934.¹
     From 7 September 1905, her married name became Shakerley.
