     Major Sir Walter Scott, 4th Bt. was born on 29 July 1918.¹ He was the son of Major Sir Walter Scott, 3rd Bt. and Nancie Margaret March.² He married, firstly, Diana Mary Owen, daughter of James Richard Owen, on 15 January 1944.¹ He married, secondly, Anna-Louise Healing, daughter of Aubrey Derwent Healing, in 1991.¹ He died on 29 November 1992 at age 74 at Eastbourne, Sussex, England.^1,3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was educated at Jesus College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the 1st Royal Dragoons.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for East Sussex in 1963.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Scott, of Beauclear, Bywell St. Andrews, co. Northumberland [U.K., 1907] on 8 June 1967.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of East Sussex in 1975.¹

     From before 1982, her married name became Lyndon-Skeggs.¹ From 13 October 1982, her married name became Scott.
