     Rt. Hon. Edwin Samuel Montagu was born on 6 February 1879.¹ He was the son of Samuel Montagu, 1st Baron Swaythling and Ellen Cohen.¹ He married Hon. Beatrice Venetia Stanley, daughter of Edward Lyulph Stanley, 4th Baron Sheffield and Mary Katherine Bell, on 26 July 1915.¹ He died on 15 November 1924 at age 45.¹
     He was educated in 1889 at Clifton College, Clifton, Bristol, England.¹ He was educated at City of London School, London, England^G.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Chesterton between 1906 and 1922.¹ He held the office of Parliamentary Under-Secretary, India between 1910 and 1914.¹ He held the office of Finance Secretary, Treasury between 1914 and 1915.¹ He held the office of Chancellor, Duchy of Lancaster in 1915.¹ He held the office of Finance Secretary, Treasury between 1915 and 1916.¹ He held the office of Chancellor, Duchy of Lancaster in 1916.¹ He held the office of Minister of Munitions in 1916.¹ He held the office of Secretary of State, India between 1917 and 1922.¹ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)²

     Samuel Montagu, 1st Baron Swaythling was born on 21 December 1832.¹ He was the son of Louis Samuel and Henrietta Israel.² He married Ellen Cohen, daughter of Louis Cohen and Rebecca Floretta Keyser, on 5 March 1862.² He died on 12 January 1911 at age 78.²
     He was given the name of Moses Samuel at birth.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Whitechapel between 1885 and 1900.¹ In 1894 his name was legally changed to Samuel Montagu by Royal Licence.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Montagu [U.K.] on 23 June 1894.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hampshire.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for London.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of London.¹ He was created 1st Baron Swaythling, of Swaythling, co. Southampton [U.K.] on 18 July 1907.¹

     Judith Venitia Montagu was born on 6 February 1923.¹ She is the daughter of Rt. Hon. Edwin Samuel Montagu and Hon. Beatrice Venetia Stanley.¹ She married Milton Gendel on 16 April 1962.¹ She died on 8 November 1972 at age 49.¹
     Her married name became Gendel.

     Milton Gendel was born on 16 December 1918 at New York City, New York, U.S.A.¹ He married, firstly, Evelyn Wechsler in 1944.¹ He and Evelyn Wechsler were divorced.¹ He married, secondly, Judith Venitia Montagu, daughter of Rt. Hon. Edwin Samuel Montagu and Hon. Beatrice Venetia Stanley, on 16 April 1962.² He married, thirdly, Monica Incisa della Rocchetta.¹ He died on 11 October 2018 at age 99.¹
     He was educated at Columbia University, Manhattan, New York City, New York, U.S.A.¹ He was an art critic and photographer.¹

     Ralph Edward Pearce-Serocold was born on 27 April 1916. He was the son of Brig.-Gen. Eric Pearce-Serocold and Hon. Blanche Florence Daphne Stanley. He married Patricia Jane Ashley Cooper, daughter of Sir Patrick Ashley Cooper and Kathleen Spickett, in 1954.¹ He died on 30 November 1998 at age 82.²

     Captain Arthur John Pearce-Serocold was born on 6 August 1918. He was the son of Brig.-Gen. Eric Pearce-Serocold and Hon. Blanche Florence Daphne Stanley. He married Hon. Elizabeth Adelaide Cohen, daughter of Lionel Leonard Cohen, Baron Cohen and Adelaide Spielmann, on 20 June 1940.² He died in December 1942 at age 24 at North Africa, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the Second World War.² He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in December 1942.² He gained the rank of Captain in the Welsh Guards.¹

     Mary Sylvia Pearce-Serocold was born on 8 April 1913. She was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Eric Pearce-Serocold and Hon. Blanche Florence Daphne Stanley. She married, secondly, Hugh Saunders.¹ She married, firstly, Julian Henry Raikes, son of Arthur Whittington Raikes and Gladys Sarah White, in December 1933 at Chelsea, London, England.² She died on 22 April 2009 at age 96.¹
     Her married name became Saunders.¹ Her married name became Raikes.

     Julian Henry Raikes was born on 10 January 1911 at Hatfield, Hertfordshire, England.¹ He was the son of Arthur Whittington Raikes and Gladys Sarah White. He married Mary Sylvia Pearce-Serocold, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Eric Pearce-Serocold and Hon. Blanche Florence Daphne Stanley, in December 1933 at Chelsea, London, England.¹ He died in 1978 at Tonbridge, Kent, England.¹
     He lived at Pluckley, Kent, England.²

     Olivia Diana Pearce-Serocold was born on 28 May 1914. She is the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Eric Pearce-Serocold and Hon. Blanche Florence Daphne Stanley.

     Alexander Edward Lane Fox-Pitt-Rivers was born on 2 November 1855. He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Augustus Henry Fox-Pitt-Rivers and Hon. Alice Margaret Stanley. He married Alice Ruth Hermione Thynne, daughter of Rt. Hon. Lord Henry Frederick Thynne and Lady Ulrica Frederica Jane St. Maur, on 25 April 1889.¹ He died on 19 August 1927 at age 71.¹
     He was given the name of Alexander Edward Lane Lane Fox at birth.² On 25 May 1880 his name was legally changed to Alexander Edward Lane Fox-Pitt by Royal Licence.² In 1900 his name was legally changed to Alexander Edward Lane Fox-Pitt-Rivers by Royal Licence.² He lived at Rushmore, Wiltshire, England^G.¹
