     Forster Goring was born circa 1810.2 He was the son of Sir Charles Forster Goring, 7th Bt. and Bridget Dent.2 He married Hon. Sydney Eloisa Yelverton, daughter of Barry John Yelverton, 3rd Viscount Avonmore and Jane Boothe, on 16 July 1839.3 He died on 8 December 1893.2
     He gained the rank of Cornet between 1832 and 1834 in the 1st King’s Dragoons.4 He was Chief Executive of the Council of New Zealand between 1862 and 1889.4 He lived at Wellington, New ZealandG.2
