     Samuel Roberts was born on 28 July 1910.¹ He was the son of Sir Samuel Roberts, 2nd Bt. and Gladys Mary Dring.² He died on 27 August 1928 at age 18.¹

     Sir Peter Geoffrey Roberts, 3rd Bt. was born on 23 June 1912.¹ He was the son of Sir Samuel Roberts, 2nd Bt. and Gladys Mary Dring.² He married Judith Randell Hempson, daughter of Randell George Hempson, on 5 December 1939.¹ He died on 22 July 1985 at age 73 at Swaffham, Norfolk, England.^1,3

(Conservative) for Heeley between 1950 and 1966.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Roberts, of Ecclesall and Queen’s Tower, City of Sheffield and West Riding of Yorkshire [U.K., 1919] on 13 December 1955.¹ He was Master Cutler of Sheffield between 1956 and 1957.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Hallamshire in 1970.¹ He was chairman of Newton, Chambers & Company in 1972.¹
