     From 16 June 1925, her married name became Rivett-Carnac.

     Edward Charles Rivett-Carnac was born on 31 August 1901.1 He was the son of John Thurlow Rivett-Carnac and Edith Emily Brownlow.2 He married, firstly, Mary Dillon Ware, daughter of Colonel Francis Bethel Ware, in 1932.1 He married, secondly, Ora-Lee Tharsing, daughter of Harry Edward Tharsing, in 1975.1 He died in 1980.1
     He was educated at Eastbourne College, Eastbourne, Sussex, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was attached to the Field Ambulance Unit, French Army during the First World War in 1918.1 He was Commissioner of Royal Canadian Mounted Police.1
