     Sarah Butler was the daughter of Charles Butler.¹ She married Sir John Ramsden, 1st Bt., son of William Ramsden and Elizabeth Palmes, on 7 March 1670.¹ She died on 14 January 1683.¹
     From 7 March 1670, her married name became Ramsden.¹ They had six younger sons who died unmarried.¹

     Willoughby Vere Bertie was born posthumously on 20 April 1811.¹ He was the son of Captain Hon. Willoughby Bertie and Catherine Jane Saunders.¹ He died on 26 July 1812 at age 1.¹

     Hon. Peregrine Bertie was born on 30 July 1790.¹ He was the son of Willoughby Bertie, 4th Earl of Abingdon and Charlotte Anne Emily Warren.¹ He died on 17 October 1849 at age 59.¹

     George William L. Meredith was born in 1894 at Kensington, London, England.¹ He married, firstly, Kythé Caroline Heaton, daughter of Beresford Rimington Heaton and Mary Isabel Susan Ogilvy, in 1918 at Guildford, London, England.¹ He and Kythé Caroline Heaton were divorced before 1928.¹ He married, secondly, Dora G. Sampson in 1936 at Westminster, London, England.¹ He died in 1962 at Westminster, London, England.¹

     Sir John Ramsden, 3rd Bt. was born on 21 March 1699.² He was the son of Sir William Ramsden, 2nd Bt. and Hon. Elizabeth Lowther.³ He married Margaret Norton, daughter of William Norton, in 1748.¹ He died on 10 April 1769 at age 70.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Appleby between 1727 and 1754.² He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Ramsden, of Byram, co. York [E., 1689] on 27 June 1736.¹

     Margaret Norton is the daughter of William Norton.¹ She married, secondly, Sir John Ramsden, 3rd Bt., son of Sir William Ramsden, 2nd Bt. and Hon. Elizabeth Lowther, in 1748.¹ She married, firstly, Thomas Liddell, son of John Bright and Cordelia Clutterbuck.²
     Her married name became Liddell. From 1748, her married name became Ramsden.¹
