     Archibald Montgomerie Ramsay-Fairfax was born on 16 December 1874.¹ He was the son of Sir William George Herbert Taylor Ramsay-Fairfax, 2nd Bt. and Mary Ann Pawson Hargrave Pawson.² He died on 26 February 1878 at age 3.¹

     William George Astell Ramsay-Fairfax was born on 29 July 1876.¹ He was the son of Sir William George Herbert Taylor Ramsay-Fairfax, 2nd Bt. and Mary Ann Pawson Hargrave Pawson.² He married Lilian Kate Rich, daughter of Henry Rich, on 12 January 1909.¹ He died on 20 November 1946 at age 70.¹
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy (Emergency List.)¹ He gained the rank of Captain in 1902 in the 30th Battalion, Imperial Yeomanry.¹ He fought in the Boer War in 1902, he received a medal with clasps.¹ He fought in the Somaliland Campaign with the Abyssinian Army between 1903 and 1904, he received a medal with clasps.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel.¹ In 1906 he founded the Divorce Law Reform Association.¹ He fought in the First World War, he was mentioned in despatches four times.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Navy.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1916.¹ He gained the rank of Territorial Brigadier-General and Brigade Commander in 1918 in the Tank Corps.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1918.¹ He was awarded the Bronze Medal of the Royal Humane Society.¹

     Henry Rich lived at Malmesbury, Wiltshire, England.¹

     Lilian Kate Rich was the daughter of Henry Rich.² She married William George Astell Ramsay-Fairfax, son of Sir William George Herbert Taylor Ramsay-Fairfax, 2nd Bt. and Mary Ann Pawson Hargrave Pawson, on 12 January 1909.¹ She died on 13 June 1957.¹
     From 12 January 1909, her married name became Ramsay-Fairfax.¹

     Joan Ramsay-Fairfax was born on 15 March 1906.¹ She is the daughter of William George Astell Ramsay-Fairfax and Lilian Kate Rich.² She married, firstly, Major Norman Ramsay on 16 February 1935.¹ She and Major Norman Ramsay were divorced in 1956.¹ She married, secondly, A/Cdre Cyril Douglas Adams, son of L.L. Adams, on 1 April 1959.¹
     From 16 February 1935, her married name became Ramsay.¹ In 1956 her name was legally changed to Joan Ramsay-Fairfax.¹ From 1 April 1959, her married name became Adams.¹

     Major Norman Ramsay married Joan Ramsay-Fairfax, daughter of William George Astell Ramsay-Fairfax and Lilian Kate Rich, on 16 February 1935.¹ He and Joan Ramsay-Fairfax were divorced in 1956.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Indian Army.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹

     Simon John Fairfax Ramsay was born on 4 January 1938.¹ He was the son of Major Norman Ramsay and Joan Ramsay-Fairfax.² He married Dawn Burrell Burrell, daughter of Eric Burrell, on 11 June 1960.¹ He died on 17 August 2009 at age 71.¹
     He was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England.¹

     Eric Burrell lived at Danbury, Essex, England.¹

     Dawn Burrell Burrell was the daughter of Eric Burrell.² She married Simon John Fairfax Ramsay, son of Major Norman Ramsay and Joan Ramsay-Fairfax, on 11 June 1960.¹ She died on 17 May 2009.¹
     From 11 June 1960, her married name became Ramsay.¹

     Julia Diana Ramsay was born on 28 March 1962.¹ She is the daughter of Simon John Fairfax Ramsay and Dawn Burrell Burrell.²
