Lt.-Col. Thomas Gybbon-Monypenny1 
He was given the name of Thomas Monypenny at birth.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the West Kent Militia.2 He fought in the Battle of Waterloo on 18 June 1815.1 He gained the rank of Ensign in the 30th Foot.1 They also had other issue.2 He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court in 1837.2 In 1837 his name was legally changed to Thomas Gybbon-Monypenny.2 He lived at The Hole, Rolvenden, Kent, England.2
