     James Monypenny was the son of James Monypenny and Sylvestra Blackwell.² He married Mary Burt.¹ He died on 3 June 1822.¹
     He was admitted to Inner Temple entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ He lived at Maytham Hall, Rolvenden, Kent, England.¹

     Mary Burt was born in 1758.¹ She married James Monypenny, son of James Monypenny and Sylvestra Blackwell.¹ She died circa 9 December 1826.¹ She was buried on 12 December 1826.¹
     Her married name became Monypenny.¹

     Phillips Monypenny was born in 1762.¹ He was the son of James Monypenny and Sylvestra Blackwell.² He married Charlotte Dering, daughter of Sir Edward Dering, 6th Bt., on 13 December 1803 at Lambeth, Surrey, England.^1,3 He died in 1841.¹
     He graduated from Peterhouse College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was the Vicar at Hadlow, Kent, England.¹ He lived at Maytham Hall, Rolvenden, Kent, England.¹ He lived at Hadlow House, Hadlow, Kent, England.¹

     Mary Katherine Grasett was born in 1937.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir Arthur Edward Grasett and Joan Mary Foster.² She married John Robin Thistlethwayte, son of Arthur Donald Claude Thomas Thistlethwayte and Hon. Gwladys Eileen Berry, in 1964 at Westminster, London, England.¹
     From 1964, her married name became Thistlethwayte.¹

     Charlotte Dering was born in 1772.² She was the daughter of Sir Edward Dering, 6th Bt.³ She married Phillips Monypenny, son of James Monypenny and Sylvestra Blackwell, on 13 December 1803 at Lambeth, Surrey, England.^1,2 She died in November 1836.¹ She was buried on 21 November 1836 at Rolvenden, Kent, England.²
     From 13 December 1803, her married name became Monypenny.¹

     Thomas Monypenny was born in July 1763.¹ He was the son of James Monypenny and Sylvestra Blackwell.² He married Katherine Rutton, daughter of Isaac Rutton, in November 1795.¹ He died on 24 September 1814 at age 51.¹
     They also had four other sons and three daughters.¹ He lived at Broomhill, Rye, Sussex, England.¹

     Isaac Rutton lived at Ospringe, Kent, England.¹

     Katherine Rutton is the daughter of Isaac Rutton.² She married Thomas Monypenny, son of James Monypenny and Sylvestra Blackwell, in November 1795.¹
     From November 1795, her married name became Monypenny.¹ They also had four other sons and three daughters.¹
