Oxford [U.K., 1918] on 29 March 1994.² He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Phillimore, of Shiplake, co. Oxford [U.K, 1881] on 29 March 1994.² He lived at Coppid Hall, Binfield Heath, Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, England.²

     Hon. Robert George Hugh Phillimore was born on 23 September 1913.¹ He was the son of Walter Godfrey Phillimore, 2nd Baron Phillimore and Dorothy Barbara Haig.² He married Sheila Bruce MacLeod, daughter of John Farquhar MacLeod, on 12 December 1944.¹ He died on 18 May 1984 at age 70 at Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, England.^1,3
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, England^G.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1936 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He fought in the Second World War, he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Engineers.¹ He was awarded the U.S. Bronze Star.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1945.¹ He was awarded the Croix de Guerre avec palm.¹

     John Farquhar MacLeod graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)¹ He graduated with a Bachelor of Surgeory (Ch.B.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Peterculter, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.¹

     Sheila Bruce MacLeod was born in 1915. She was the daughter of John Farquhar MacLeod.² She married Hon. Robert George Hugh Phillimore, son of Walter Godfrey Phillimore, 2nd Baron Phillimore and Dorothy Barbara Haig, on 12 December 1944.¹ She died on 31 December 2016.
     She gained the rank of 2nd Officer in the Women’s Royal Naval Service.¹ From 12 December 1944, her married name became Phillimore.¹ She lived at Brook Cottage, Mill Road, Shiplake, Oxfordshire, England.¹

     Annabel Margaret Phillimore was born on 1 April 1947.¹ She is the daughter of Hon. Robert George Hugh Phillimore and Sheila Bruce MacLeod.² She married Hugo Massey Gamble, son of Brigadier Geoffrey Massey Gamble, in 1978.¹
     From 1978, her married name became Gamble.¹ She lived at The Mill House, Shiplake, Oxfordshire, England.¹

     Brigadier Geoffrey Massey Gamble was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)¹ He lived at The Little White Cottage, Rotherfield Greys, Oxfordshire, England.¹

     Hugo Massey Gamble is the son of Brigadier Geoffrey Massey Gamble.² He married Annabel Margaret Phillimore, daughter of Hon. Robert George Hugh Phillimore and Sheila Bruce MacLeod, in 1978.¹
