     He was a Civil Engineer.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Engineers.¹

     Frank Douglas Montgomerie was the son of Captain Frederick Montgomerie.¹ He married Esmé Napier, daughter of William Archibald Napier and Mabel Royds, on 25 July 1905.¹ He died on 3 April 1951.¹
     He lived at Castle Hedingham, Essex, England.²

     Commander Lenox Napier was born on 17 September 1846.² He was the son of Major Hon. Charles Napier and Annabella Jane Gatacre.² He married Ellin Buddicom, daughter of William Barber Buddicom, on 21 June 1873.² He died on 21 January 1886 at age 39.²
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.²

     He fought in the Boer War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the 11th Battalion Sherwood Foresters, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Regiment.¹
