James Edward Salusbury-Trelawny1 
He gained the rank of Adjutant between 1908 and 1910 in the 4th Battalion, Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry.2 He fought in the First World War, where he was severely wounded.3 He was Staff Captain, War Office in 1915.3 He gained the rank of Major and Brevet Lieutenant-Colonel.3 He was Assistant Military Secretary in 1917.3 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.2
