He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Foster [U.K., 1831] on 27 November 1890.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)2 He gained the rank of Captain in the Norfolk Yeomanry.2
