     From 2 September 1964, her married name became Gurowski. She lived in 2003 at North End House, Damerham, Fordingbridge, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Mary Finola FitzGerald was born on 5 August 1919.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Arthur Henry Brinsley FitzGerald, 4th Bt. and Mary Eleanor Forester.² She married, firstly, Lt.-Col. Henry Steuart Phillpotts, son of Brig.-Gen. Louis Murray Phillpotts and Amy Anne Charlotte Duckett, on 1 February 1940.¹ She married, secondly, Major Richard Rashleigh Shelly, son of Dr. L. W. Shelly, on 25 May 1949.¹ She and Lt.-Col. Henry Steuart Phillpotts were divorced in 1949.¹ She died on 11 September 1977 at age 58.¹
     From 1 February 1940, her married name became Phillpotts. From 25 May 1949, her married name became Shelly.

     Lt.-Col. Henry Steuart Phillpotts was born in 1910.² He is the son of Brig.-Gen. Louis Murray Phillpotts and Amy Anne Charlotte Duckett.^3,2 He married Mary Finola FitzGerald, daughter of Sir Arthur Henry Brinsley FitzGerald, 4th Bt. and Mary Eleanor Forester, on 1 February 1940.¹ He and Mary Finola FitzGerald were divorced in 1949.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Irish Guards.¹ He lived at Russelstown Park, County Carlow, Ireland^G.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹

     Brig.-Gen. Louis Murray Phillpotts was born on 3 June 1870 at Lamerton, Tavistock, Devon, England.² He was the son of Reverend Henry John Phillpotts and Catherine Mary Robertson.² He married Amy Anne Charlotte Duckett, daughter of Steuart James Charles Duckett and Catherine Seton Dick-Lauder, on 6 October 1909.² He died on 8 September 1916 at age 46 at France, killed in action.²
     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Field Artillery.³ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)¹ He was educated at Bedford School, Bedford, Bedfordshire, England.² He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, England.² He fought in the Boer War in 1900.² He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1900.¹ He fought in the First World War.²

     Major Richard Rashleigh Shelly was the son of Dr. L. W. Shelly.¹ He married Mary Finola FitzGerald, daughter of Sir Arthur Henry Brinsley FitzGerald, 4th Bt. and Mary Eleanor Forester, on 25 May 1949.¹ He died on 22 February 1971.¹
     He was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.)¹ He was manager of HM The Queen’s Thoroughbreed Lunch.¹

     Dr. L. W. Shelly was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He lived at Sevenoaks, Kent, England^G.¹
