     Muriel Evelyn Kathleen Cockburn was the daughter of Colonel George William Cockburn and Emily Sarah Cleugh.² She married John Houston Sinclair, son of William Houston Sinclair, on 29 April 1902.¹ She died on 5 June 1952.¹
     From 29 April 1902, her married name became Sinclair. She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1918.¹

     William Houston Sinclair lived at Morton Manor, Brading, Isle of Wight, England^G.¹

     John Houston Sinclair was the son of William Houston Sinclair.² He married Muriel Evelyn Kathleen Cockburn, daughter of Colonel George William Cockburn and Emily Sarah Cleugh, on 29 April 1902.¹ He died on 17 August 1961.¹
