     Vice-Admiral John George Lawrence Dundas was born on 3 November 1893.¹ He was the son of Hon. Cospatrick Thomas Dundas and Maud FitzWilliam.¹ He married Ruth Northrop Coleman, daughter of Archibald Coleman, on 22 September 1928.¹ He died on 26 March 1952 at age 58.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He was awarded the Officier, Ordre national de la Légion d’honneur.¹ He was awarded the Croix de Guerre avec palmes.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1942.¹ He was Chief of Staff, Mediterranean between 1942 and 1944.¹ He was Assistant Chief of Naval Staff between 1944 and 1945.¹ He was awarded the Grand Cross, Order of the Phoenix of Greece.¹ He was awarded the U.S. Legion of Merit.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1945.¹

     Elizabeth Catherine Monique Hargreaves was born on 30 January 1980.¹ She is the daughter of Michael Patrick Alexander Hargreaves and Catherine Mary Cullen.¹ She married Daniel Gardner on 30 July 2005.¹
