     Thomas Hunter Vere Cochrane, 5th Baron Cochrane of Cults was born on 7 September 1957.² He is the son of Ralph Henry Vere Cochrane, 4th Baron Cochrane of Cults and Janet Mary Watson Cheyne.² He married Silke Quandt, daughter of Peter Quandt, in 2008.³
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He graduated from Exeter College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of LAw (LL.B.)² He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1980 entitled to practise as a barrister.² He lived in 2003 at 47 Bucharest Road, London, England^G.² He succeeded as the 5th Baron Cochrane of Cults, of Crawford Priory, co. Fife [U.K., 1919] on 11 September 2017.⁴

     Hon. Michael Charles Nicholas Cochrane was born on 4 March 1959.² He is the son of Ralph Henry Vere Cochrane, 4th Baron Cochrane of Cults and Janet Mary Watson Cheyne.² He married Dr. Janet Murray, daughter of Captain H. J. Murray, on 15 January 2000 at Great St. Mary’s Church, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.³
     He was educated at Glenalmond College, Perthshire, Scotland^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon, England^G.² He was Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1990.² He gained the rank of Acting Captain in 2002 in the Royal Navy.²

     Hon. John Douglas Julien Cochrane was born on 12 June 1929.² He is the son of Major Thomas George Frederick Cochrane, 2nd Baron Cochrane of Cults and Hon. Elin Douglas-Pennant.² He married Vaila Rose Dalby, daughter of Commander Robert Dalby, on 27 November 1965.²

     Grizel Bayley was born circa 1892.¹ She was the daughter of Isaac Fenton Bayley.² She married William Hunter Watson Cheyne, son of Sir William Watson Cheyne of Leagarth, 1st Bt. and Mary Emma Servanté, on 15 December 1923.¹ She died on 4 September 1975.¹
     From 15 December 1923, her married name became Cheyne.¹

     Sir William Watson Cheyne of Leagarth, 1st Bt. was born on 14 December 1852.¹ He was the son of Andrew Cheyne.³ He married, firstly, Mary Emma Servanté, daughter of Reverend William Servanté, on 29 January 1887.¹ He married, secondly, Margaret Smith, daughter of George Smith, on 12 December 1894.¹ He died on 19 April 1932 at age 79.¹

     Mary Emma Servanté was the daughter of Reverend William Servanté.² She married Sir William Watson Cheyne of Leagarth, 1st Bt., son of Andrew Cheyne, on 29 January 1887.¹ She died on 6 February 1894.¹
     From 29 January 1887, her married name became Cheyne.¹

     Reverend William Servanté lived at Plumstead, Kent, England^G.¹

     Margaret Smith was the daughter of George Smith.² She married Sir William Watson Cheyne of Leagarth, 1st Bt., son of Andrew Cheyne, on 12 December 1894.¹ She died on 9 April 1922.¹
