     William Maxwell of Cowglen was the son of Sir John Maxwell of Cowglen and Elizabeth Maxwell of Pollok.¹ He died on 4 April 1647.¹
     He was guardian to Grissel Maxwell in 1624.¹

     Lilian Eliza Lawrence was born circa 1859 at Herefordshire, England.¹ She was the daughter of George Lawrence and Catherine Lewis.¹

     Charles Lewis Lawrence was born in July 1860 at Herefordshire, England.¹ He was the son of George Lawrence and Catherine Lewis.¹

     William Wyndham was born on 17 April 1796.¹ He was the son of William Wyndham.¹ He married Ellen Heathcote, daughter of Reverend Samuel Heathcote and Catherine Pickering, on 14 June 1831.² He died on 27 February 1862 at age 65.¹

     Ellen Heathcote was the daughter of Reverend Samuel Heathcote and Catherine Pickering.¹ She married William Wyndham, son of William Wyndham, on 14 June 1831.² She died on 31 July 1883.¹
     From 14 June 1831, her married name became Wyndham.²

     Mary Lawrence was baptised on 19 January 1832 at Trevethin, Monmouthshire, Wales.¹ She was the daughter of George Lawrence and Mary Geach.¹

     Elizabeth Ann Lawrence was baptised on 14 March 1833 at Trevethin, Monmouthshire, Wales.¹ She was the daughter of George Lawrence and Mary Geach.¹

     Emily Gaskin was born in 1851.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Gaskin.¹ She married George Lawrence, son of George Lawrence and Catherine Lewis, circa June 1875 at Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.¹
     From circa June 1875, her married name became Lawrence.¹
