     He was commissioned on 15 January 1908, in the service of the Royal Navy.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant on 30 October 1916.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 July 1924.¹ He gained the rank of Commander on 31 December 1930.¹ He gained the rank of Captain on 30 June 1938.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) on 8 June 1944.¹ He gained the rank of on 4 August 1946.¹ He lived at Blaisdon House, Longhope, Gloucestershire, England.⁴

     Judith Caroline Gurney Lubbock was born on 4 May 1934.¹ She is the daughter of Colonel Michael Ronald Lubbock and Diana Beatrice Crawley.¹ She married Martin Marriott, son of Rt. Rev. Philip Selwyn Abraham and Elizabeth Dorothy Cicely Marriott, on 10 November 1956.¹
     From 10 November 1956, her married name became Marriott.¹ She lived in 1999 at Morris Farmhouse, Baverstock, Dinton, Wiltshire, England^G.¹

     Martin Marriott is the son of Rt. Rev. Philip Selwyn Abraham and Elizabeth Dorothy Cicely Marriott.¹ He married Judith Caroline Gurney Lubbock, daughter of Colonel Michael Ronald Lubbock and Diana Beatrice Crawley, on 10 November 1956.¹

     Rt. Rev. Philip Selwyn Abraham was born on 29 July 1897 at Lichfield, Staffordshire, England.² He is the son of Rt. Rev. Charles Thomas Abraham and Mary Theresa Furse.² He married Elizabeth Dorothy Cicely Marriott, daughter of Sir John Arthur Ransome Marriott.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.³ He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)³ He fought in the First World War in 1914, with the Royal Artillery.³ He was ordained in 1923.³ He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)¹ He held the office of Bishop of Newfoundland between 1942 and 1955.³

     Elizabeth Dorothy Cicely Marriott is the daughter of Sir John Arthur Ransome Marriott.¹ She married Rt. Rev. Philip Selwyn Abraham, son of Rt. Rev. Charles Thomas Abraham and Mary Theresa Furse.¹
     Her married name became Abraham.¹

     Brigid Louise Wright was born on 1 November 1928.² She was the daughter of Fitzherbert Wright and Hon. Doreen Julia Wingfield.¹ She married Julian John William Salmond, son of Air Marshal Sir John Maitland Salmond and Hon. Monica Margaret Grenfell, in 1950.³ She died on 25 April 2000 at age 71.³
     From 1950, her married name became Salmond.

     David John Julian Salmond was born on 11 November 1969.¹ He is the son of Julian John William Salmond and Brigid Louise Wright.¹
