     Brig.-Gen. Sir Frederick Charlton Meyrick, 2nd Bt. was born on 7 July 1862.² He was the son of Sir Thomas Charlton Meyrick, 1st Bt. and Mary Rhoda Hill.² He married Mary Emma Baker-Cresswell, daughter of Major Oswin Cumming Baker-Cresswell and Emma Sophia Georgiana Denman, on 16 October 1897.² He died on 23 February 1932 at age 69.²
     He graduated from Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He was Commandant of the 5th Battalion, Imperial Yeomanry.² He gained the rank of Major in the 15th Hussars.² He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1901, where he was mentioned in despatches and he was wounded.² He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1900.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Pembrokeshire.² He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.² He gained the rank of Colonel in the South Wales Mounted Brigade.² He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1918.² He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Meyrick, of Bush, co. Pembroke [U.K., 1880] on 30 July 1921.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Pembrokeshire.² He held the office of High Sheriff of Pembrokeshire in 1926.²

     Violet Meyrick was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Sir Frederick Charlton Meyrick, 2nd Bt. and Mary Emma Baker-Cresswell.² She married William Brereton Couchman Lewis, 3rd Baron Merthyr, son of Herbert Clark Lewis, 2nd Baron Merthyr and Elizabeth Anna Couchman, on 10 November 1932.¹ She died on 2 February 2003.¹
     After her marriage, Violet Meyrick was styled as Baroness Merthyr on 10 November 1932. From 10 November 1932, her married name became Lewis.

     Harriet Mary Elisabeth Tomlin is the daughter of Colonel Julian Latham Tomlin.¹ She married Sir Stephen Lewis Edmonstone Hastings, son of Major Lewis Aloysius Macdonald Hastings and Edith Meriel Edmonstone, in 1948.¹ She and Sir Stephen Lewis Edmonstone Hastings were divorced in 1971.¹
     From 1948, her married name became Hastings.¹

     Colonel Julian Latham Tomlin was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)¹

     Carola Ann Hastings was born on 3 March 1952.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Stephen Lewis Edmonstone Hastings and Harriet Mary Elisabeth Tomlin.¹

     Amanda Caroline Lewis was born on 28 August 1977.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Hon. Peter Herbert Lewis and Caroline Monica Cadogan.²

     Hon. John Frederick Lewis was born on 30 December 1938.¹ He is the son of William Brereton Couchman Lewis, 3rd Baron Merthyr and Violet Meyrick.² He married Margaret Dilys Rachel Lewis-Bowen, daughter of Lt.-Col. James William Lewis-Bowen, on 23 July 1966.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was educated at St. John’s College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.¹ He lived in 2003 at 1 Cedar Hill, Carisbrook, Isle of Wight, England.¹

     Lt.-Col. James William Lewis-Bowen lived at Dyfed, Wales.¹

     Margaret Dilys Rachel Lewis-Bowen is the daughter of Lt.-Col. James William Lewis-Bowen.² She married Hon. John Frederick Lewis, son of William Brereton Couchman Lewis, 3rd Baron Merthyr and Violet Meyrick, on 23 July 1966.¹
     From 23 July 1966, her married name became Lewis.

     Paul William Lewis was born in 1979.¹ He is the son of Hon. John Frederick Lewis and Margaret Dilys Rachel Lewis-Bowen.²
