     Giles Fendall Newton was born on 27 May 1891.² He was the son of William Latham Newton and Violet Harrison.^3,2 He married Mary Cicely Meyrick, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Sir Frederick Charlton Meyrick, 2nd Bt. and Mary Emma Baker-Cresswell, on 28 June 1921.¹ He died on 8 April 1974 at age 82.²
     He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)¹

     Rachel Eva Meyrick was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Sir Frederick Charlton Meyrick, 2nd Bt. and Mary Emma Baker-Cresswell.² She married Laurence Lithgow, son of Samuel Lithgow, on 30 April 1929.¹ She died on 23 October 1995.¹
     From 30 April 1929, her married name became Lithgow.

     Samuel Lithgow lived at North Kensington, London, England.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)¹

     Laurence Lithgow was the son of Samuel Lithgow.² He married Rachel Eva Meyrick, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Sir Frederick Charlton Meyrick, 2nd Bt. and Mary Emma Baker-Cresswell, on 30 April 1929.¹ He died in 1972.¹
     He gained the rank of officer in the 15th Hussars.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹

     James Frederick Lithgow was born in 1933.¹ He is the son of Laurence Lithgow and Rachel Eva Meyrick.²

     Esther Mary Lithgow was born in 1930.¹ She is the daughter of Laurence Lithgow and Rachel Eva Meyrick.² She married Matthew Archibald Nicholson in 1956.¹
     From 1956, her married name became Nicholson. She lived in 2003 at West Lodge, Seaborough, Beaminster, Dorset, England^G.¹

     Matthew Archibald Nicholson married Esther Mary Lithgow, daughter of Laurence Lithgow and Rachel Eva Meyrick, in 1956.¹
     Matthew Archibald Nicholson usually went by his middle name of Archibald.¹

     Colin Norman Laurence Nicholson was born in 1962.¹ He is the son of Matthew Archibald Nicholson and Esther Mary Lithgow.² He married Martha Briscoe in November 1990.¹
