Reverend Archibald MacCallum of Dunoronsay, 4th of Poltalloch1 
He graduated from Glasgow University, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland, in 1627 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was Minister in 1639 at Kilmichael-Glassary, Scotland.1 On 14 July 1642 he was served heir to his cousin in Poltalloch.1
In 1650 he translated the ‘Shorter Cathechism.1‘ In 1659/60 he tanslated parts of the Bible into Gaelic.1
