     From 22 April 1869, her married name became Thoms.

     Alfred Patrick Macthomas Thoms of Aberlemno was born on 6 July 1871.² He was the son of Thomas Watt Thoms and Rachel Jameson Duncan.² He married Evelyn Charteris Black, daughter of James Buyers Black, on 6 October 1908.² He died on 17 May 1958 at age 86.²
     He was educated at Blair Lodge.² He graduated from St. Andrews University, St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland, with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)² He was educated at Geneva, Switzerland.² He held the position of 17th Chief, de jure Chief of the Clan MacThomas from.² He was a practising Writer to the Signet (W.S.)²

     Henry James MacThomas Thoms was born on 15 January 1875.¹ He was the son of Thomas Watt Thoms and Rachel Jameson Duncan.² He married Amy Hilda Surridge, daughter of Joseph Smith Surridge, on 18 October 1904.¹ He died on 31 March 1940 at age 65.¹
     He was educated at St. Andrews University, St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland.¹ He was educated at Geneva, Switzerland.¹ He lived at The Crescent, Dundee, Angus, Scotland.¹

     Joseph Smith Surridge lived at Coggeshall, Essex, England.¹ He lived at Coggeshall, Essex, England.¹

     Amy Hilda Surridge is the daughter of Joseph Smith Surridge.² She married Henry James MacThomas Thoms, son of Thomas Watt Thoms and Rachel Jameson Duncan, on 18 October 1904.¹
     From 18 October 1904, her married name became Thoms.

     Commander Bernard Hunter Jameson Thoms was born on 8 August 1905.¹ He was the son of Henry James MacThomas Thoms and Amy Hilda Surridge.² He married Cynthia Mary Richmond Fell, daughter of Richmond Fell, on 7 April 1934.¹ He died on 23 July 1974 at age 68.³
     He was educated at Glenalmond College, Glenalmond, Perthshire, Scotland^G.¹ He was educated at Durham University, Durham, County Durham, England.¹ He was registered as a Associate Member, Institution of Mechanical Engineers (A.M.I.Mech.E.)¹ He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Canadian Navy.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was awarded the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve Officers’ Decoration (V.R.D.)¹ He became an unknown person ‘s adoptive father.¹

     Richmond Fell held the office of Judge.¹ He lived at Nelson, New Zealand.¹ He was judge.

     Cynthia Mary Richmond Fell is the daughter of Richmond Fell.² She married Commander Bernard Hunter Jameson Thoms, son of Henry James MacThomas Thoms and Amy Hilda Surridge, on 7 April 1934.¹
     From 7 April 1934, her married name became Thoms. She became an unknown person ‘s adoptive mother.¹
