     He was educated at Glenalmond College, Glenalmond, Perthshire, Scotland^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artillery.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)¹ He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court on 10 February 1955.¹

     William Alfred Mudd lived at Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire, England.¹

     Very Rev. Arthur Stuart Duncan-Jones graduated with a Bachelor of Divinity (B.D.)¹ He held the office of Dean of Chichester.¹

     Ursula Elizabeth Duncan-Jones is the daughter of Very Rev. Arthur Stuart Duncan-Jones.² She married Geoffrey Surridge Thoms, son of Henry James MacThomas Thoms and Amy Hilda Surridge, on 20 December 1947.¹
     From 20 December 1947, her married name became Thoms.
