James Macnab1 
In 1798 he was served heir as eldest lawful son to his father.1 He gained the rank of Surgeon between 1798 and 1814 in the Honourable East India Company Service.1 He was Civil Surgeon of Patna before 1816.1 He purchased West Haugh in 1817.1 He lived in 1818 at Arthurstone, Perthshire, Scotland, which he purchased.1

Sir Donald Campbell Macnab1 
In 1853 served in the Honourable East India Company Service and in the Indian Civil Service.1 He was Commissioner of Rawalpindi, Lahore and Peshawar.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Star of India (C.S.I.) in 1881.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Indian Empire (K.C.I.E.) in 1887.1
