     Torquil MacLeod, 8th of the Lewes is the son of Roderick Macleod, 7th of the Lewes and Agnes Mackenzie.2 He married, secondly, Agnes Macdonald, daughter of Sir Ian ‘Cathanach’ Macdonald and Sheila Savage.1 He married, firstly, Lady Catherine Campbell, daughter of Colin Campbell, 1st Earl of Argyll and Isabel Stewart, on 28 June 1498.1
     In 1506 his estates were forfeit.1
