     Kenneth Mackenzie was the son of John Mackenzie of Delvine and Margaret Hay.² He married Grizel Hume Broun, daughter of Andrew Broun of Dolphinton.¹ He died in 1756.¹
     He was a practising advocate.¹ He was Professor of Law at Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.¹ In 1738 he was served heir male in Delvine to his brother Alexander.¹

     Grizel Hume Broun is the daughter of Andrew Broun of Dolphinton.² She married Kenneth Mackenzie, son of John Mackenzie of Delvine and Margaret Hay.¹
     Her married name became Mackenzie.

     John Mackenzie was the son of Kenneth Mackenzie and Grizel Hume Broun.² He married Alice Ord, daughter of Robert Ord and Mary Darnell.¹ He died in 1788.¹
     He lived at Dolphinton, Lanarkshire, Scotland.¹

     Robert Ord was born on 16 March 1700 at Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland, England.^2,3 He was the son of John Ord and Anne Hutchinson.³ He married Mary Darnell, daughter of Sir John Darnell and Margaret Jenner, on 11 October 1727 at Chapel Royal, Whitehall, London, England.^2,4,3 He died on 12 February 1778 at age 77.²
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Mitchell, Cornwall between 1734 and 1741.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Morpeth between 1741 and 1755.² He held the office of Chief Baron of the Exchequer [Scotland] between 1755 and 1775.^1,2

     Alice Ord is the daughter of Robert Ord and Mary Darnell.^2,3 She married John Mackenzie, son of Kenneth Mackenzie and Grizel Hume Broun.¹
     Her married name became Mackenzie.

     Richard Mackenzie was born in 1780.¹ He was the son of John Mackenzie and Alice Ord.² He married Jane Hamilton, daughter of Captain John Hamilton, in 1810.¹ He died on 5 April 1850.^1,3
     He lived at Dolphinton, Lanarkshire, Scotland.¹

     Captain John Hamilton died in 1783 at Cuddalore, India, killed in action.²
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 73rd Regiment.² He fought in the Battle of Cuddalore in 1783.²

     Jane Hamilton is the daughter of Captain John Hamilton.² She married Richard Mackenzie, son of John Mackenzie and Alice Ord, in 1810.¹
     From 1810, her married name became Mackenzie.
