     Bertha Etelka Surtees was born on 15 October 1891 at Camberley, Surrey, England.1 She was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Sir Herbert Conyers Surtees and Madeleine Augusta Crabb.1 She married Edward Bell on 16 February 1914 at London, England.1 She died in October 1974 at Battle, Sussex, England.1
     From 16 February 1914, her married name became Bell.1

Edward St. Lawrence, 5th Baron Howth1

     Edward St. Lawrence, 5th Baron Howth was born circa 1508.1 He was the son of Christopher St. Lawrence, 4th Baron Howth and Anne Bermingham.1 He married Alison FitzLyons, daughter of James FitzLyons, circa 19 November 1528.1 He died on 2 July 1549, without surviving male issue.1
     He succeeded as the 5th Baron Howth [I., c. 1440] on 20 April 1542.1 He held the office of Member of the Council of Ireland in 1545/46.1

Christopher St. Lawrence, 1st Baron Howth1

     Christopher St. Lawrence, 1st Baron Howth was the son of Stephen St. Lawrence and Elinor Holywood.1 He married Anne Plunket before 1435.1 He died from 17 September 1462 to 24 January 1463/64.1
     In 1437 he did homage for his lands.1 He was created 1st Baron Howth [Ireland] circa 1440.1 In 1451 he had a licence to search for a mine in Howth.1 He held the office of Constable of Dublin Castle in 1461, for life.1
