     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hampshire.¹ He was Inspector-General of Police between 1902 and 1907 at British Guiana.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Honorary Brigadier-General in the Royal Field Artillery.¹

     Colonel Frederick Wood Macmullen gained the rank of Colonel in the Duke of Connaught’s Own 13th Bengal Lancers.¹

     Mabel Louise Macmullen was the daughter of Colonel Frederick Wood Macmullen.² She married Stephen Lushington, son of Edward Harbord Lushington and Mary Ramsay, in 1891.¹ She died on 14 January 1950.¹
     From 1891, her married name became Lushington.

     Helen Lushington was born on 20 February 1856 at Krishnangar, West Bengal, India.² She was the daughter of Edward Harbord Lushington and Mary Ramsay.³ She married Francis Reynolds Yonge Radcliffe, son of John Alexander Radcliffe, on 18 August 1881.¹ She died on 26 February 1938 at age 82 at The Rise, Headington, Oxfordshire, England.^1,2
     From 18 August 1881, her married name became Radcliffe.

     Francis Reynolds Yonge Radcliffe was the son of John Alexander Radcliffe. He married Helen Lushington, daughter of Edward Harbord Lushington and Mary Ramsay, on 18 August 1881.¹ He died on 23 April 1924.¹
     He was appointed King’s Counsel (K.C.)¹
